Mapping Customer Name field in the ZBrains Dashboard

[ALL] How to map mandatory Customer Name field in QB when you use First and Last name in Zoho

As you may have noticed, it's mandatory to map the Customer Name field in QuickBooks if you want to sync Zoho Accounts to QuickBooks Customers.  If you refer to your customers by their company name, this is no big deal; the name transfers from QuickBooks Customer to Zoho Account seamlessly.  But, if you call your customers in QuickBooks by their full names, this can create a problem: By default Zoho doesn't supply a field that includes a customer's first and last names - and, the ZBrains integration only allows one Zoho field to be mapped to one QuickBooks field.

You can work around this by creating a formula field in your Zoho CRM Contacts or Accounts module.  Use this formula:

Concat(${Contacts.First Name},' ',${Contacts.Last Name})

You can call this field "Full Name," or something else obvious.  Note that this will only concatenate the first and last name values for newly created records - it won't be applied to old records retroactively.

You can then click "Sync All Mappable Fields" and map that new choice in Zoho CRM to the "Customer Name" field in your customer mapping section.
