[QBD] I keep getting a "Max Tries Exceeded" error in my QWC, and/or all my records show up as "Not Synced."
This error will occur when there is a problem with your QuickBooks company file mapping for the integration. To solve this problem, review your file path mapping by logging into the
ZBrains dashboard and navigating to
Settings >> QB File Path.
Ensure the file path points to a real drive and not a mapped (network) drive. The QuickBooks integration can only occur with an actual file path from your server, either by direct access for remote desktop access. Note: A direct file path will have one backslash (e.g., C:\) while a mapped drive will include two backslashes, sometimes without a driver letter before them (e.g., C:\\ or \\).
As well, the system will not accept special characters in your file path. To alleviate this problem, you can rename your company file. The system will accept spaces, commas, and periods but it will not accept other characters aside from letters and numbers, including hyphens and underscores.
It's also a good idea to make sure you've included the QuickBooks company file extension (.qbw) at the end of your file path, as the integration will not work without this either.
