Avoiding certain errors caused by deleting records in the QuickBooks Zoho integration

[ALL] "Invalid Reference," "Invalid ID," or "You Do Not Have Permission to Edit This Record" error messages

You may receive these kinds of errors when records have been deleted from the destination platform, and the master platform tries to sync those records to the destination platform again because the records have been modified. 

The integration creates hidden custom fields in QuickBooks records to link those records corresponding Zoho records, and the integration is designed to use this field and its data to re-sync those two records when the record on the origin platform is modified.  When a previously synced record in the destination platform has been deleted, this information is not conveyed to the record in the origin platform, so the integration will attempt to sync one record with a nonexistent second record - and, the sync will fail for this reason.
Solution: Do not delete records that have synced from Zoho to QuickBooks; or, if you must delete a previously synced record, make sure to delete them from both the destination and origin platforms.
